Brian Boyd is University Distinguished Professor in English at the University of Auckland, New Zealand. The leading Nabokov scholar, he has written On the Origin of Stories: Evolution, Cognition and Fiction (Harvard, 2009) and many essays on literature and evolution, and coedited the forthcoming Evolution, Literature, and Film: A Reader (Columbia).
